The Gasman Cometh

The gas was turned back on at midnight last night. No way was I going to get out of my nice warm bed to have a shower; I'd just go to work scuzzy. Everyone's allowed to once in a while.

Came home this evening; no heat. The Transco man came round again - we could hear him getting an earful from the neighbours before he got round to us - and told us there was another suspected gas leak and we would be reconnected ASAP.

I drive off to karate in the expectation of a nice warm bath when I get in...is this starting to sound familiar?

Of course it's better than being gassed in our sleep or blown up. But gnah.
