Sometimes you see a call for submissions and think "I have GOT to submit something to that!"

Thus it was with Microcosm Publishing's request for 'feminist science fiction about bicycles and cats'. To my delight, my offering was accepted and will be appearing in C.A.T.S.: Cycling Across Time And Space.

I can't do a better job of summarising my own story than the editor did:

"An intergalactic bicycle sales rep writes a memo about better ways to market to feline-oids."

If that, or bicycling sci-fi feminist cats in general, appeal to you, you can preorder the book here (paperback or ebook), or back it on Kickstarter if you'd like some extra treats.

CATS book cover: a kid on a BMX bike flies across the moon with a cat in the basket shooting lasers out of their eyes
