This week I started the third and final placement of my Home Office digital internship, without going in to the office or meeting my new colleagues in person. It's a shame, because it means I'm not getting to know them in the way that you do if you're idly chatting or getting a coffee together, but things could be considerably worse. (Five minutes into my first video call I was asked where all my James Bond posters were, because apparently the previous intern only told them one thing about me.)
On Saturday I met Howard in Surrey for a walk at the Devil's Punch Bowl, which I've travelled past on journeys to Portsmouth but never stopped off at. It was perfect weather, and good to fill my horizon with green trees and blue sky.
The trouble with going out at present is all the loos are closed.
