Three Titles in Search of a Story

My brain has thrown all these at me over the last few days. I wish I could come up with the accompanying stories.

  • La Belle Dame Sans Serif
  • A Snog of Ice and Fire
  • Feral Bureau of Investigation

The first reminds me that, many years ago, mathew_rss tended to post to Usenet under the pseudonym "En font terrible".
Oh, very good!
I missed that last one and considered it could be Federal Burrow of Investigation.
I like that too! *steals*
The lolcats beat you to the last one, I'm afraid! The first title I think is wonderful. I want to read it!
Lolcats iz always stealin mah titles!

I'll see what I can do :)
Musr admit, I've always thought the TV multicast would be much more watchworthy if we had The Eurovision Snog Contest.
Would the French not win by default?
You should do what I do with tempo321. We pick a random idea or a story title like that, different one each, and then set a 30 minute timer. You write whatever the hell springs to mind in that time, based around that idea or title. Then at the end we swap and review each other's work. I've found it a great writing exercise and a fun way to get some pretty interesting stories started. I never know what I'm going to write till I just start writing. You should see what I wrote last night!
I hope I can :) I'm a bit wary of writing exercises as I usually end up with a load of useless drivel, but they're a good way to get the ol' brain in gear when you're stuck.
La Belle Dame Sans Serif

Ohhh.... you could work it as a passionate, yet ultimately a tragically doomed romance involving John Baskerville

I think you're on to something there!

I normally delete these, but I couldn't resist this one!
A Snog of Ice and Fire sounds like the elict romance between two dragons of opposing dynasties. Along the lines of Romeo Fire Dragon and Juliet Ice Dragon. An epic tale of romance lust and massive piles of gold loot.
Ooh, I can see that working, yeah!
