Something So Right

This morning was a good morning. It was sunny, and Chris Evans played 'Late In The Evening', a bouncy single from Paul Simon's neglected 1980 album One-Trick Pony.

Then I got a Songkick email to inform me that Paul Simon would be playing the Hammersmith Apollo in June. Thank you, Songkick, thank you, thank you!

Usually when I attend gigs I buy the cheapest tickets available, but this time I thought what the hell, this is my all-time favourite musician we're talking about here and let's face it, he's not getting any younger. So I got straight on to hmvtickets.com, and I shall be in Row D.

Four rows away from Paul Simon?

I am actually shaking a little.
