Fun Is Hard Work

I spent the weekend bringing pleasure to others.

Well, OK, and having some myself. But only incidentally, honest.

On Saturday, calgor and I played host to a bunch of furries (hello hrrunka, eldabion, orona_red, silvante, vicky82tiger and insofox) before we all trooped into Bromley to see another bunch of furries, the cast of Avenue Q, at the Churchill Theatre.

I saw this in the West End a few years ago. Some bits I remembered very well indeed, which shows what a good show it is, and it was excellent to be reminded of the rest.

On Sunday I led a Vespa ride to the Cabin Dairy Tearoom in Burnham-on-Crouch. This is a popular biker destination due to the ten miles of right-angle bends leading into Burnham, not to mention the cheap, delicious and ample Full Monty all-day breakfasts at the tearoom. In summer both sides of the main road are given over to motorcycle parking, but on this moist and cloudy February day our five scooters were the only two-wheelers in attendance.

Both days, everyone involved seemed to have a good time. I am content and tired.
