Productivity in my corner of the office was down yesterday, but stress levels were also significantly lowered, when mattlazycat introduced me to the Amur Leopard webcam.

I had a leopard window open in one corner of my monitor all day so I could check out the mother and cubs. The morning was all sleepytiems, but in the afternoon the little guys decided to go exploring and their long-suffering Mum was kept busy retrieving them by the scruff of the neck and dumping them back in bed with a brief lick - familiar behaviour to anyone who's seen a domestic mama cat in action.

Perhaps less universally appealing is the naked mole rat. Personally I think they're adorable, but even their mothers would admit they look slightly like two-eyed willies on legs.
