Home, Where My Thought's Escaping

One of the items on my To Do list for this year was revamping my homepage, since it's had the same design since 2002.

Inspired in part by the_gneech's sterling efforts getting gneech.com off the ground, I buckled down last week and you can see the results at alice.dryden.co.uk.

I wanted it to be a bit more dynamic, to highlight the fact that I write things and some of them are even serious, and perhaps to mention Pokémon a bit less. Also to link to my Amazon wishlist, for I am ever-hopeful that random internet strangers will want to buy me things.

The downside is that now it looks exactly like everyone else's damn webpage. I am not clever enough, in this age of blogs-with-links-down-the-side, to draw up a way round that.

Oh, and I like red.
