Writer's Block: Animal magnetism

What animal best represents your inner spirit? If you had to wake up as an animal, which one would you choose, and why? Are your two answers the same? Why or why not?

Are any of my non-furry chums going to have a crack at this one? Don't be shy!

Despite identifying myself all over the internet as a husky, I've always felt my 'inner spirit' more closely resembles some kind of small terrier. (I hope it's a Scottie, because they are my favourite dog after huskies.)

Loyal, determined, energetic, intelligent, funny and fun. Alternatively: annoying and yappy.

If I were going to wake up tomorrow as an animal, however, I'd go with domestic cat. If I were really lucky and got to choose the breed, I'd be a classic seal-point Siamese. I cannot imagine a nicer life than that of the cherished household puss.
