DS Lite in Red

I unexpectedly earned some money recently, and being a profligate grasshopper type decided to blow it on a preowned DS Lite in red.

Handheld gaming rather fell by the wayside for me a few years ago, an unexpected and unwanted side effect of going everywhere by bike instead of by train (and spending all my spare cash on bike bits rather than games). But the DS has been tempting me for some time, flaunting its touchscreen and its virtual doggies, and I finally succumbed.

The postie came this morning just as I was about to leave for work - which is great, as I'll have it tonight, but also incredibly frustrating, as I won't have it until tonight. I couldn't resist opening the box to take a look, and it's charging in my bedroom right now in all its glorious shiny redness (gee, I'm suddenly terrified it will burn the house down).

I have three games to be getting on with: Tomb Raider: Underworld, Guitar Hero On Tour and, ahem, Neopets Puzzle Adventure. I'm sure there will be Nintendogs and Pokémon in the near future. What else should I get?

Nine hours. Nine hours until I'm home and playing.
