Pass!

I've just passed my driving test, after almost a year and I dread to think how many hundreds of pounds' worth of lessons.

Thank God! Now I never need to drive a car again!

I had a reasonable drive despite the slight handicap of my legs shaking so much my foot was bouncing up and down on the clutch pedal. Parallel parked; turned it round in the round; fielded questions about how I'd check the tyres were roadworthy and the power steering was operational.

Because I promised to recommend him: if you're thinking of learning to drive in the North Kent/South-East London area, ask me for Rob's number.

If I didn't have to go to work this afternoon, I would so have my snout in a gin & tonic right now.
