My friend Oli has a habit of inviting me to quirky events out of the blue. One such was The Prisoner at the Union Chapel last night.

It turned out to be a dozen or so people sitting in comfortable armchairs watching a DVD. Quite like old times at DocSoc, except I wasn't the only woman.

There's an episode every Tuesday this month, and we were thinking of going again on the Tuesday after next (FYI, klepsydra, arakinuk and other interested parties).

A late arrival home did mean I missed Billy Bragg talking about Phil Ochs, but that's what Listen Again is for.

I would like to point out that my choice of a stripey top yesterday was entirely subliminal. My God, they've got me!
