Woolly Thinking

Since callmemadam took up knitting again a couple of years ago I have made occasional 'please knit me something!' noises, but as I had no specific item in mind and had often and loudly voiced my hatred of wearing wool, I didn't exactly provide much to work with.

Recently, though, I conceived a desire for a tank top-type affair to add an extra warm layer over shirts and things. We found one together in a '70s-tastic Golden Hands pattern book, and here it is.

Reason #109 why it's great to be a grown-up: if you go to school wearing something your mum knitted for you, you're asking for a beating, whereas in the office it makes you an object of envy and admiration.
