For My Eyes Only

I can't now remember which of my relatives gave me a Garfield diary for Christmas 1989, but it was a gift that kept on giving because I've kept one ever since. Just a regular diary, that is - I don't think they make Garfield ones any more.

These diaries are private, personal, Most Secret affairs which help me to remember exactly what I was doing and thinking at the time. Sometimes re-reading can be such a poignant experience I can barely keep myself from tears.

Here's what I wrote for yesterday.
Went to Bond exhibition @ Science Museum w/ Jo & Paul. Saw stuff; bought keyring.

Compare and contrast with corresponding LJ entry. I think writing with an audience in mind is good for me.
