Ooh, now I'm pissed off.

I have tickets to see R.E.M. in Hyde Park on Saturday.

It's been put off till the 16th.

When I'll be at the Royal International Air Tattoo in Fairford.

Bollocks.

Anyone want my ticket?

ETA: Just had a voicemail message from Ticketmaster confirming that due to the 'recent tragic circumstances today' the concert has been rescheduled for the 16th, and if one cannot make it one may return tickets for a refund. Blah.

Will attempt to find out. Refund is small consolation for not seeing REM live for the first time evah, howevah :(

Actually, I've just looked at the REM website (stick REM into google) & that confirms it :-( They do also say you can get refunds from point of sale, & give a phone number for Ticketmaster & someone else.

Titty - biscuits! I'd jump at the chance but sadly I cant for the same reaosn I can't make the air tattoo - I'm skint!

While we're on the subject though, what's with Michael Stipe and the stripe he paints on his face? Does it denote anything in particular or is play onto his name?
